My objective is to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing so that I can become a Registered Nurse.

Medical and Clinical Experience

VolunTEEN at Shands: 2015-2016

• During these two summers, I was able to assist on nursing floors, pediatric specialties, and the pediatric floor. I organized multiple medical forms, including filing and organizing documents both electronically and manually. I was able to assist in ensuring the comfort of the patients, working alongside hospital staff and interacting with patients and families

UF Health Shands Hospital: Bone Marrow Transplant Unit 2018

• I started my Nursing clinical on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. I assisted Registered Nurses, but was also able to perform tasks independently. These tasks included taking vital signs, conducting physical assessments, and documenting findings.

Community Service

Missions Trip to Work with Friends of Refugees: 2016-2018

• For three summers, I was able to work with underprivileged refugee families and children in Clarkston, Georgia. I helped plan and organize fundraiser events and leadership trainings for this

mission’s trip, and I organized materials and day schedules for the trip.

​

SIRA Pregnancy Center: 2017-2018

• After many training sessions, I was able to serve as a client advocate by counseling, assisting, or

interacting with women who came in for the community services, which include pregnancy test,

ultrasound, or counseling.

Work Experience

Restaurant Employee: 2016-2017

• During high school, I wanted to use some of my time to gain experience in the workplace, so I got a

job at a Chick-fil-a. I was able to assist managers in stocking items, organizing items in the front of

the store, and serving customers to ensure optimal satisfaction. I learned a lot about communication

and responsibility from interacting with customers.

Youth Intern: 2018-current

• I work 20 hours a week leading small group high school Bible studies, leading large group studies,

communicating with students & parents, and coordinating & organizing events.
